Here are some of the steps we take during bathroom remodeling to make sure that your home is properly protected:
Seal Off the Area
Bathroom remodeling can be very messy and dusty. If the area being worked on isn’t properly sealed off from the rest of the home, dust can spread all over the place. It doesn’t take long before there’s a small film of dust all over the furniture and the rest of the house.
Zip it Up
We will ask questions about how you plan to use your home during the project. Zippers will be placed in doorways to allow people to get into the rooms they need while still keeping things sealed off. People in the house should still be able to have a pleasant lifestyle during the remodel. While it has to affect you at some level, we try to minimize any inconvenience.
Protect the Entrance Path
The bathroom is usually located somewhere off the master bedroom or hallway. There probably isn’t an outside entrance to the room we’re working in. That means that people working on the remodel will have to walk from the front/back door to the bathroom. The area that spans from the entrance to the area being worked on must be properly protected to prevent scratches, tracks, or other damage from occurring.
Do a Thorough, Fast Job of Cleanup
It can be rather shocking to see the remodeling in action when we first get started. However, we make sure that everything is cleaned up efficiently in order to return things to a usable fashion as soon as possible. We make sure any debris or small nails and screws are picked up and disposed of properly.
Along with the things that we do, there is also one important step you can take:
Keep pets and children properly monitored and away from the work area. The safety of everyone in the household is very important to us. While we make precautions to keep the area safe, it helps immensely when small pets and children are not left unattended.
