We Wrote a Cookbook!
benefitting the Rescue Mission
Why would a plumbing and heating company write a cookbook?
For one really good reason.
Because 100% of the proceeds will be given to The Rescue Mission of Roanoke (link opens in new window).
We’ve been called “That Casserole Company.” And for good reason. Wisler Plumbing & Air is known for serving a hot, homecooked breakfast to our team every morning. And people are always asking us to share our recipes. So, today, we’re sharing our breakfast menu to benefit an organization we hold near and dear to our hearts.
Our cookbook features forty-two recipes. The same recipes our Mom cooks up for our crew every morning. You’ll find lots of breakfast casseroles along with recipes for oven pancakes, sausage muffins, cobblers, and other yummy dishes.
Wisler Plumbing and Air is richly blessed to be a part of your life and our community. We hope these recipes bring you comfort and delight for many years to come.
$24.03? Why?Â
For every book sold, $10 will be donated – it’s easy math. As for the remaining $14.03, that’s the cost of taxes, printing, packaging, and shipping (if applicable). Wisler Plumbing and Air is not keeping a penny.
Why The Rescue Mission?
We at Wisler Plumbing & Air are richly blessed to enjoy bounties of love, friendship, and fellowship but some, in our community, are less fortunate. For this reason, this cookbook has been prepared to help support the work of our local Rescue Mission.
Since July 1948 the Rescue Mission has provided meals and shelter to individuals in crises in the Roanoke Valley in increasing numbers. Gus Johnson who was also in need of these services in another city, at another time, decided he wanted to give back and help others in need. His original mission has blossomed into a multi-faceted organization that not only feeds and shelters the homeless population but also empowers them towards independent living by way of the various programs and services that are provided. While the needs continue to grow, so do the success stories as more and more homeless individuals and families gain stability through its programs.
