#1 – I used to go wakeboarding and skiing.
About five to ten years ago I used to do a lot of wakeboarding at the nearby lake. Before I started wakeboarding (when I was around 16 to 20 years old), I used to travel all over the country and do a lot of snow skiing. My wife used to wakeboard too, but neither of us are able to anymore since we have a lot of other responsibilities in our lives. Besides, I’m not even sure that I’m in shape to do it at this point in my life. My wakeboarding adventures five to ten years ago left me with some great memories.
#2 – I enjoy cooking.
I married a very awesome wife who does pretty much all the home cooking now, but I actually used to cook a lot when I was growing up. I still enjoy cooking just as much as I used to, but most of the time I’m relegated to meats and grilling. (I even know how to sew because I had an amazing mom who allowed and taught me to do these things.)
#3 – I have experience in new construction and general contracting.
When I first got a full time position here at Wisler Plumbing and Air, I led several crews of new construction plumbers and I also did new construction plumbing myself. (Wisler Plumbing and Air doesn’t do new construction anymore.) Back then during the early 2000s through around 2008, I gained a tremendous amount of experience in new construction and the general contracting world. Even though we haven’t done that since 2009, it led me to attain useful experience.
