When we started our Diamond Club thirteen years ago, it was a new way for our organization to build strong, long-lasting relationships with our clients. Now that we’ve accumulated all these years of experience with the club, we’ve gained a better understanding of your needs. We’ve listened to what you had to say, and it really sheds light on what we can do to make the Diamond Club even better.
Whenever we make a change, we pay careful consideration towards how we can make the experience better for everyone involved. Here’s what our current Diamond Club benefits look like:
- Free annual visit
- 25% discount on repairs only
- Front-of-line service
- 30 months of banked funds
The funds you put towards the program are available to be used towards plumbing services over a period of 30 months. After 30 months, the banked money does not continue to accrue. If it remains unused, it’ll continue to be available to you until you do decide to use it.
We’ve kept the Diamond Club the same over the last thirteen years. Some of the perks are good and some need improvement. It’s time for a change—here’s how we’re going to improve the Diamond Club.
- 10 Percent Discount on All Services
There was some confusion about where discounts were applied if you’re a Diamond Club member. We’re now applying a 10 percent discount to everything you have done on your home, both inside and outside. The discount is easy to understand and it is also a great value.
- Lifetime Memberships
You no longer have to purchase an annual membership. Clients can now pay on a monthly (or annual) basis for as long as they wish. Membership can simply be cancelled in writing at any time.
- Reduced Service Charges
Our regular service charge is $59 or $69. Our Diamond Club family wanted a benefit here, so in the new program we’re going to reduce the service charge to only $39.
- Increased Security through ACH
Due to the credit card landscape with chips, fraud, and expiration dates, we decided to improve our payment method. We’re only going to be accepting ACH payments because they are more secure and more convenient for our clients. ACH is a recurring payment from your checking or savings account and it’s very easy to set up. You can just give us a voided deposit slip or check and we’ll set it up to withdraw from the amount automatically each month.
- No More Banked Funds
We’re discontinuing the banked money partly because there was some confusion about how long it would accrue. Clients didn’t have a good way to keep track of the funds, aside from asking us. It wasn’t a good thing for us to manage from our side, either. It’s a daunting accounting task to keep it up.
- Extended Warranty on Repairs and Services
Diamond Club members will receive a two year warranty instead of the one year warranty that we have now. This applies to both repairs and services.
When do the changes take effect?
